RWRG0043 - High Range Synchronizer Failure

Symptom(s)
• Transmission grinds going into high range when air
pressure is to specification
Cause
Material is missing from the high range synchronizer, burned
or worn excessively allowing the range shift to rake.
If the material appears to be stripped off the synchro ring, in-
spect for a possible heat exchanger failure.
Complaint: Grinding
Failure: Worn
