This will be dependent on the receipt X1 of a partial declaration from the Classification Society covering the table items marked (X¹). Classification Society is responsible for the issue of the Cargo Ship Safety Construction Certificate “for X2 and on behalf of the Government of United Kingdom and Northern Ireland”. The certificate will be completed on the basis of a partial declaration by MCA covering the items marked (X²). Classification Society will survey and certificate for all Annexes of MARPOL, except approval of X3 SOPEP will remain with MCA Classification Society will survey and certificate vessels over 300GT. For unclassed and under X4 300GT vessels, surveys will be conducted by “authorised persons”, ref.
