2. PRESENTACION
At the end of this guide apprentices will be able to: describe their likes and dislikes; use connectors: and,
but, so, because etc.; identify family vocabulary; describe likes and dislikes of other people (including 3 rd
person)
Warm up: On the perfect day…- apprentices review the present simple tense (especially negative)
completing the sentence in different ways.
Presentation: family members vocabulary- apprentices complete the diagram to learn family members
vocabulary; the teacher explains the use of like/love verbs and connectors and, but, so etc.; the teacher
gives a quick review about possessive adjectives; teacher presents likes and dislikes` vocabulary and “what
kind of?” question.
Practice: writing sentences about your and your family`s likes and dislikes; listening comprehension- “Do
you like it?” song- students listen to the song and complete the lyrics.
Production: asking partner about her/his likes and dislikes (also using “what kind of?” question), writing
and talking about them;
