3. You’ll be directed here, choose the desired partition or in this case if it’s a fresh hard
disk like above, we need to create a new partition on an unpartitioned space.
4. You can either limit the size or use all of it, it is all depending on your hard disk
capacity. Allocate a decent size for the installation, a minimum of 5GB or more.
5. After creating a partition onto the unpartitioned space, you should see like the
above. Depending on your hard disk you might have multiple partitions, once done
hit “ENTER”.
6. Now the partition need to be formatted, select “Format the partition using the NTFS
file system <Quick>” and hit “ENTER”. You may use other such as FAT but it is not
recommended for the latest Hard Disk.
7. Wait while the partition is being formatted. This might take a while depending on
the size or method of formatting (e.g Quick format or not).
9. Now wait while the setup copies the installation files for the next setup.
11. Now it will automatically restart and it will continue to the next installation phase.
13. Now the setup will install drivers, wait for it.
14. As you are brought here, Input your Name and Organization. Hit “Next” to continue.
15. Give your computer a name. Administrator password is not necessary; you can do it
later on. Continue by hitting “Next”.
16. Choose your date and time settings and time zone. Once done hit “Next”.
17. This installation process will take quite long, so wait awhile. Once the setup is done it
will automatically restart to windows.

18. When you have completed setup, you’ll be prompted at the “Display Settings” box
like above. Just hit “Ok”.
19. It will adjust your display resolution higher just hit ”ok” confirm “Cancel” to revert.
Either one you’ll be proceeded to the next step.
28. If you’ve reached here means you have done everything correctly and installed
Windows XP correctly.
