Summer School

To reduce the risk of spread,


summer school this year will be
conducted through distance learning.

Meal programs and child care services for


essential employees will continue.
Looking Ahead
• It remains too early to make a determination on
the fall semester.
• The State will issue guidelines in June so schools
and colleges can start to plan for a number of
scenarios.
• Plans to be submitted for approval to state in July.
Downstate Beaches Open Tomorrow
• Jones Beach, Sunken Meadow, Hither Hills,
Robert Moses. Open 6:00am and close at
9:00pm, Swimming open 9:00am-5:00pm
• Lake Welch Beach (Harriman State Park)

State Beaches Open Tomorrow

• Beaches are limited to 50% capacity we expect this to be


reached by 10:00am.
• No group contact activities, including sports (e.g. volleyball,
football)
• Areas of social gathering will be closed (e.g. designated picnic
areas, playgrounds, pavilions)
• Social distancing measures will be enforced
• Masks will be required to be worn of all employees and visitors
when social distancing is not possible
• No concessions
