DOCUMENTATION ON PLLP SIGNING WITH THE PRINCIPAL


MY REFLECTION PAPER
I have been teaching for ten years now in different levels. My first teaching experience was in the Private Elementary School where I had
to deal kids from grade 3 to grade 6. My second teaching experience was in the Private College level where I found it interesting and enjoyable
since I dealt with more mature students. And lastly, God brought me into this real world of teaching, my DepEd Family, both Junior and Senior
High School level specifically my Bugo National High School family. With my experiences, I realized that teaching in the 21st Century is both
challenging and satisfying because I have to fit my pedagogies in teaching to the multiple intelligences of my students in a heterogeneous class.
This is not my first time to make my Personal Plan because as teachers we are required to do so. But honestly speaking, not all of the
areas in the action plan that I prepared for this school year was materialized. But preparing, designing and planning this PPLP Is much different
from all other learning plan I prepared. I experienced difficulties during the preparation and planning of the PLLP. Before writing, I have to
consider the seven 21st Century Literacies a teacher should possess; namely Arts and Creativity, Ecoliteracy, Cyberliteracy, Financial Literacy,
Media Literacy, Social and Emotional Literacy and Globalization and Multicultural Literacy. I should also know what PLLP is and I should
develop and possess the Knowledge, Skills, Attitudes and Values (KSAVs) for me to become a 21st Century teacher.
I know that writing my PLLP is not an easy task because this is the plan of my progress from one learning level to the next learning level
throughout my life in teaching. This PLLP is a reminder for me that I should learn by heart each literacy stated because it will surely help me to
become a 21st century teacher which my students need.
Writing this Personal Lifelong Learning Plan is such a difficult task but by the time I finished writing it, I know that from now on I am
focused and directed in my personal and professional development. For my personal growth, I need to develop my level of competency in the
Financial Literacy so that I can be the model of my students in this component. As the saying goes "You cannot give what you do not have." I
know that at this time I am still in the process of learning handling my personal finances but I also made my lifelong learning plan for this
matter.

I was also reminded that in teaching, teamwork is very important, as they say "No Man is an Island". I need the expertise of my co-teachers
especially in the case of cyberliteracy. As a 21st century teacher, integrating ICT is very much needed. But I am not that expert in computer so I
really need to ask assistance from my co-teachers in ICT. With this, I will be effective in using ICT in my day-to-day teaching and learning
processes.
I know that I will face many challenges in implementing my PLLP but I commit to myself to realize this plan for my personal and
profession growth. I will continue to be a Competent, Dedicated and Optimistic 21st century teacher of Bugo National High School, Division of
Cagayan de Oro City.
