this task students are asked to describe the factors that caused the African slaves enslaved to

revolt against the planters which led to the Haitian Revolution. This task is important because it

would give students insights the political, social economic and religious factors which all

contributed to the Haitian Revolution.

Completing this task will give the students the foundation from which to build the other

lessons upon. Students engagement in the task is highly crucial to their understanding of the

concept.
