ORDER:
In the context of declaring of COVID-19 as notified disaster, the
Government have issued certain guidelines on the measures to be taken for
containment of COVID-19 Epidemic in the Country and the Lock Down was
extended upto 07.05.2020 by the Government of Telangana, vide reference
3rd cited.
In order to implement these containment measures, the following
Officers are appointed as Special Officers for supervision and close
monitoring of transportation of vehicle and public at the point of Check
Posts located as detailed below :-

Therefore, the officers concerned are here by directed to ensuing strict

adherence to the followingthe guidelines communicated by the Government
from time to time and should visit the appointed check post day and night
to ensure prompt scrutiny and compliance of instructions:-
 1. Inter-state and Intra-state movement of all trucks and other goods/
carrier vehicles with on drive and one additional person is allowed as
long as the driver is carrying a valid driver's license. This is
irrespective of the nature of the cargo, whether essential or otherwise.
No further permit or approval would be required.
2. Empty trucks/ goods carrier should also be allowed to operate while
on way to pick up goods, or returning after completing a delivery.
Hence, there is no cause to stop empty trucks provided they have
valid documents such as driving license & road permit etc.,
3. Inter-state, inter district movement of people, personal vehicles such
as two wheelers and four wheelers continue to be prohibited until
lifting of Lock Down period.
The District Collector, Add1.Collector, Project Officer, ITDA,
Bhadrachalam, Asst. Collector (U/T) and Revenue Divisional Officer,
Kothagudem will conduct surprise inspections to the State and District
Check Posts in the district any time without intimation to the officer
concerned.
