ACADEMIC PROJECTS

M.Tech Project*: Control allocation for over-actuated systems

Supervisor: Prof. S Sen, Department of Electrical Engineering, IIT Kharagpur.
Description: Designing a Control Allocation Law, using linear methods, for systems that have
redundant actuators for maneuvering such as modern aircrafts, automobiles etc., so that a virtual
control law is distributed among the redundant actuators with reduced energy requirements and
improving robustness of the system.
(*- on going).

UG Project: Microcontroller Based Home automation System

Supervisor: Prof. B Sarala, Department of ECE, MVSR Engg College-Hyderabad.
Description: A microcontroller (Atmel mega32) based central system to monitor and automate
various appliances and typical activities in a home. The project utilized customized sensors and
digital ICs to monitor events like water level in a tank, proximity check, and fire hazard etc. Also
implemented automated telephone dialer in the event of security breach or accidental mishap.
