Subject: Proposal to conduct a research project on Facing

gender discrimination by NSU faculty.

INTRODUCTION
Gender discrimination means to differentiate people according to their gender. It
is now become a grate problem in our society. In our NSU campus many female
student are facing this problem. They are discriminate by faculties. They are
suffering the most rather than male students. Sometimes the faculties flirt with
female students and they frustrated by this. They also get good result from male
faculties due to their beautiful attraction.

The focus of my research will be on why female students are facing more gender
discrimination issue by faculties than male, what is their reaction against in and its
sustain solution. NSU is the first private university in Bangladesh. Its Moto is
“Centre of Excellence in Higher Education”. But it is quite sad that in our
university students are facing gender discrimination by faculties. Specially the
female faculties are facing this most. I would like to know what is the reaction of
them against it. I wonder they are frustrated by this problem. I hope to find
answers to such questions through my research work.
RESEARCH QUSTIONS
In my research I plan to investigate the impact of gender discrimination on
students. My research will address the following research questions:

 What is gender discrimination?

 Why female students are getting more attention by faculties?
 Who suffers most by faculties?
 Why female students get good grades from male faculties?
 Are male students flirt by faculties?
 Are male students flirt by faculties?
 What students think about gender discrimination?
 What is the solution of this problem according to the view of NSU faculties
and students?

HYPHOTHESIS
Gender discrimination Al NSU create negative impact on students. From my
research, I am expecting to find why faculties discriminate students, cause of
discriminate and what is the feeling of students. In NSU there are lots of students
study for achieving their respective degree. They work hard to achieve their
desire goal . But in NSU there are some faculty who discriminate students. I think
female students are facing this problem more than male students. Due to the
attraction of female students male facilities are giving more attention and
opportunity, also give good grades. They also sometimes flirt female students.
Sometimes female students are fustrated by this issue. I am expecting from both
NSU faculties and students about their view of this gender discrimination issue.
What the students think about gender discrimination. Not only that but also I am
expecting whether male students are facing this problem or not. I am expecting a
sustain process of solution according to the view of NSU faculties and students.
RESEARCH METHODOLOGY
From my primary research, I will conduct a survey of a representative sampling of
Faculties and students of NSU who are facing this problem and interview with
faculties to know their opinion about this gender discrimination. At the end I will
design a questionnaire with different types of questions so as to get a good range
of data which will help me to answer my research questions.

For my secondary research, I plan to take personal opinion from my friends who
study in NSU about this problem.

ORGANIZATION
My paper will be divided into several sections, the most important are
Introduction, Background, Data presentation and Analysis, and Summary of
findings. Within the sections my organization will be based on my research
questions.

TIMETABLE
I hope to complete my primary research by the end of/early_______ and
secondary research by the end of/early ________, I shall complete writing the
final draft of my Research Paper by_________, and submit it by the specified
deadline (the last day of classes) towards the end of this semester.
