To Whom It Concerns:

It is with ardent assurance that I recommend Brady Blackwell for the teaching position. If chosen for the
position, his strengths and skills would, without question, aid to academically and emotionally prepare your
students for their future. Although Mr. Blackwell’s educational and professional experiences are noteworthy,
his true forte cannot appear on a resume – he reaches out to meet the needs of our students. Period. He is
committed to not only educate them academically but to care for them as a whole. 

Mr. Blackwell taught at Washington Junior High during the Spring 2020 semester, as my intern; he also
shadowed me at least one day/weekly during the Fall 2019 semester. During this time, I was pleased to be his
mentor and colleague. His teaching responsibilities primarily entailed 8th grade Introduction to Business.
However, he also co-taught 8th grade Leadership and Service Learning (a high-school credit FACS course),
7/8th grade Information and Communications Technology, and 7/8th Introduction to Computer Science with
me as well. We, at WJHS, quickly found that, not only is he highly qualified as a 7-8 Business Education
teacher, he also is abundantly competent to motivate students of any age (he will be certified in Bus. Ed., 7-12
in Arkansas, possibly with a pending add-on certification in Computer Science). He had no qualms
immediately seizing the reins of our classroom and basically making the terrain his own. Mr. Blackwell
always has such a positive demeanor; he has truly forged strong, inspiring relationships with our students.

I strongly recommend him and am sure that you will be more than pleased with his performance in your
school.
