Technology is more prevalent now than it ever was. Students utilize some form of

electronic technology almost daily. With this exciting global world at their fingertips, it is

important that education adapt and change in order to make it attractive and relevant to the

students.

In this lesson I utilize several technology tools including WhatsApp, Emails,

Moviemaker and YouTube to create a video presentation about an important historical event in

Trinidad and Tobago’s history, that is exciting, engaging and relevant. The lesson is very

student-centred and encourages cooperation among the students in order to complete a specific

task.
