Anthony was born about circa 468 at Valeria in Lower
Pannonia. When he was eight years old, his father died and

Religious Education News
There are no classes on January 2nd. Classes resume
on Sunday, January 9, 2011. Grades 6 and 7 will have
their retreat on January 9th beginning with 10am Mass.
The retreat follows in the auditorium until 2pm. All
families are reminded to return the form for the
Family Lenten Day as soon as possible. This form
was mailed to you in December.
Grade 8 Confirmation students are reminded that you
are required to attend a special session on Sunday
evening, January 9th at 7pm in church.
Protecting God’s Children Workshop - This workshop
will be offered on January 12th at OLQP at 6:30pm in
the auditorium. Any person who volunteers in a church
ministry which involves children must take this
workshop. It is also open to any parishioner who is
interested in the topic of preventing child sexual abuse.

of the Hours also known as The Divine Office. There is
