FAKTOR BELUM MENGUASAI TAHAP MINIMA:


1. Direct lifting
2. Spelling issues
3. Transfer wrong information
4. Unable to turn their ideas into proper/correct written texts. (ungrammatical)

PROGRAM INTERVENSI/PENYELESAIAN:

1. Drilling activities
 Applying ‘strikethrough’ and ‘underline’ technique
 SVA (Subject-Verb Agreement)
 SVC (Subject-Verb Complement)
 Use of Preposition of Time, Place & Directions and Manner

2. Check and Explain : ‘One to One’ Approach

PELAKSANAAN:
1. During normal Year Six English Language Teaching & Learning periods
2. During Extra Classes allocated for English Language (Wednesdays afternoon from 1415 – 1515)

PAPER 2: SECTION B.ii (FORMAT WRITING)

FAKTOR BELUM MENGUASAI TAHAP MINIMA:


1. Lack of vocabulary
2. Spelling issue
3. Unable to turn their ideas into proper/correct written texts. (ungrammatical)
 Fragment structure (incomplete structure)
- Most sentence do not have Subject-Predicate unit
 Run-on sentences (no linkers, full stops or commas)

PROGRAM INTERVENSI/PENYELESAIAN:

1. Drilling activities by familiarizing the pupils with the format writing as in the syllabus.
2. Introduces some ‘Magic Sentence’ (sentences that can be used in most format writing)
3. To overcome Fragment Structure issue, drill them on SVA & SVC
4. Drill them with common sentences linkers in writing.
5. Full stop and Comma Exercises
6. Check and Explain : ‘One to One’ Approach

PELAKSANAAN:

PAPER 2: SECTION C (Creative Writing)

FAKTOR BELUM MENGUASAI MINIMA:


1. Lack of vocabulary
2. Spelling, Tenses and Cohesiveness issues
3. Unable to turn their ideas into proper/correct written texts. (ungrammatical)
 Fragment structure (incomplete structure)
- Most sentence do not have Subject-Predicate unit
 Run-on sentences (no linkers, full stops or commas)

PROGRAM INTERVENSI/PENYELESAIAN:

1. To Overcome Vocabulary Issue


- Provides pupils with appropriate/sufficient amount of vocabularies (by referring to the Word Lists
given in the syllabus/HSP) which put together accordingly into their categories/family.
2. Provide pupils with some templates of ‘openings’.
3. Teach them ‘Linking Words’ to overcome the cohesiveness issue.
4. Every pupil has been provided with a ‘Present to Past’ Note which explained meticulously by the teacher
on how to apply them when answering this section.
5. To overcome Fragment Structure issue, drill them on SVA & SVC
6. To overcome Run-On sentences: Provide Full stop and Comma Exercises
7. BM – English Technique
8. Check and Explain : ‘One to One’ Approach
