(a) College is a place that the students can learn more and new knowledge and experience in it.
Of course, different people have different reason to study in college. For example, some people
want to be to go on a further study after they graduate from the college; some people hope to find
a good job after their studying in the college and also some people wish to exchange their present
situation through studying in the college. In my opinion, no matter what reason people study in
the college for, studying in the college is just a preparation for their future’ life.
First of all, students can learn new knowledge and experiences from the studying in the college.
There are many teachers, professors with abundant teaching experience who teach students lots
of new knowledge and help them to solve the problems in their study. With their help, student
can learn a lot of useful basic and professional knowledge which is very helpful for their future’
work and study. After they finish their study in the college, students go to work in the society
and contribute to the different fields.
Secondly, students can learn how to arrange their own time reasonably. Before their studying in
college, their life often arranged by their parents and their study often arranged by their teachers.
It is very different for them to live and study in college, because students studying in college
have to arrange their life and study by themselves. They have right to arrange their part time,
such as when to get up, when is the sport-time, when to finish the assignment etc. This is very
important experience for students’ work and life in the future.
Thirdly, studying in the college make students having opportunity to live with other student and
learn how to cooperate with other people. Usually, people often have uncomfortable feeling to
live with a stranger, because they do not know each other and perhaps their habit and personality
are different. But for the long run, it is good for them. They have to cooperate with each other
and solve a lot of problems they will face together. Gradually, they can learn how to care and
understand other people. It is a preparation for students to go to cooperate with other people in
the society.
All in all, students not only can learn lots of new knowledge from the books but also can learn
much more necessary experience such as how to arrange time and how to cooperate with other
people. It is very important for their future work and life.

These days, most jobs require people who are educated and have good job skills. Therefore, the
people who want a good job have to study hard and at least graduate with a high education.
Furthermore, as technology advances all over the world, more and more education is required of
people.
Some people who study in college or university want to make more friends and increase their
interpersonal skills. They enjoy their lives in university or college and tend to socialize a lot.
They can meet more people who have the similar interests with themselves. They can go to uni
ball after school and make more friends who they trust.
The people who graduate from college seem more confident in our community. These people are
more respected by society. Many people want to be respected and to be important by family,
friends, their bosses, and others in their lives. They find that most of them can confidently talk
and do their jobs, as they are more educated. Therefore, most people want to get the confidence
through the university or college study.
In today's society, people need more knowledge and skills to be adapted. The university and
college study is a good way to achieve this.

Online classes, online courses, and online degree programs are ready-made educational products
for students. Online courses and classes are artificial. While traditional classes, offline courses,
and offline degree programs are service-based products but have a physical presence. In which
teachers have to serve education each day with their own creativity, situation, the mood of class
and experiences. The answer is according to the students when students and teachers interaction
happens in traditional classes.  It’s a lack in online classes and yet robots, an online educator
can’t analyze the situation of students sitting remotely. 

But let’s learn in more details:

Following are the difference between online classes and traditional classes:

1. You can take online classes in whenever you get time. It can be during travel by bus,
car, train, plane. It’s not possible in traditional classes. You have to be in class on the
time according to pre-fixed schedule and mostly a fixed place. But online classes gives
you time to manage yourself for learning. In traditional classes, you have to be on time. It
means online classes have options for time management. But in traditional class you
don’t have options for time management, you have to get time for class no matter what
are your priorities.
2. Online classes require discipline. Students can be careless while taking online classes
and courses. They can ignore the consistency and development of skill within them,
without discipline. In another side, traditional classes do not wait for you and your best
mood. Traditional classes keep running no matter you’re in the mood of learning and not.
It’s challenging for students but it’s the key to build discipline as soon as possible earlier
in life.
3. And traditional classes and learning by following routine help to build strong learning
foundation (passion for excellence) in the mind of students that remain unbreakable in
their whole life. And they will never give up on any situation in career, projects, and
business. it’s because they are disciplined to learn.
4. While in online classes, it’s very difficult to build discipline. It’s because online classes
are available on mobile, tablet or laptop and you know that you can’t even stop yourself
from checking social media status then think about kids, teenagers, can they stop
themselves?
That’s why online classes best suited for matured students but not for teenagers until they
are not well disciplined to study online.
5. Here is the fact for you: You know that all kind of education is available on the internet
for people. But then why people are not able to implement that education in their life,
career, and business. Why people are still struggling for employment, why they are
 giving up on the business, why they are feeling frustrated? While many are able to do it.
But how?
The answer is simple, passion for excellence and learning. But for many students, they
just focus on learning not on the method.
6. It’s tough to drop the traditional classes. Each class and course is based on certain goals.
After semester students have to participate in exams and it’s the fear that makes it
possible to attend each topic and class for students. Online classes or courses do not have
that many boundaries. And that’s why many students do not complete the online courses
and classes.
7. In traditional classes, teachers have responsibilities to educate and train students in
certain skills. And for that, they do the hard work and use their creativity according to
students response. But in online classes, the hard work and pre-designed creativity or
they are ready-made educational products in which teachers are unable to find out the
mindset of students. and the answers are not personalized.
8. Students can’t continue the questions with teachers. There is just 1 answer. But if I have
another question on teachers answer then where do I look?
That’s why in traditional classes, students can ask questions about the teacher’s answers
and history. And teachers have to use their own expertise, experience, creativity so that
they will be able to provide knowledge for passionate learners. 
9. In online classes, teachers are not able to understand students questions, past experience,
study environment, financial conditions, and personality. But in traditional classes when
the student asks any certain question it’s easy for teachers to understand the students and
his/her questions because the student is present in the classes or interacting in real time.
10. Students can’t learn and understand and become skilled in everything by taking
online courses or joining online classes. There are many skills and topics in a course or
syllabus in which you have to practice in front of teachers such as Graphics Designing,
English and Hindi Typing etc. teachers have to see, how students are performing. And
this is possible in the best ways in traditional classes.
11. In online courses, online classes students do not get an immediate answer to their
questions. And many students unable to ask the questions from instructors. Even many
teachers do not have answers to students questions. Questions and answering required
little more interactions and communication layers than just likes and comments. It takes
time for teachers in online classes to answer all the questions of students.  In traditional
classes, there is a time and method to answer. Sometimes answers are not in the text, they
can be an image, they can be in an assignment, they can be in any form of creativity. And
it’s tough in online classes to explore possibilities for answers.
12. There are high chances of this is that in online classes and online courses support teams,
are not the team of teachers, but they are trained sales and customer support people.
Students can’t identify that if they are interacting with teachers or bots or sales support.  
13. Online courses, online degree programs are less costly than traditional classes. It takes
40000 to 10000 offline to learn PHP programming or website designing skills, but in
online classes, you can learn such skills in less than 10,000. The price of education or
knowledge or course is never like vegetable prices (e.g. 2 KG apple, in $2), knowledge is
priceless but the world compares the knowledge with its prices too. In that comparison,
online classes and courses are less costly for students than offline.
 14. Online classes and online courses are open to all type of students, people worldwide.
Online courses and classes are free from casteism, communism, poor and rich and black
and white comparison. Everything is available for everyone in the same way and
quantity. But in the traditional classroom or before admission school and colleges
asks, “are you below poverty line (IRDP), or SC, ST etc.
15. The cost of conducting online classes are less for colleges and universities. They are
required less infrastructure such as tables, chairs, boards, teachers, admission and
examination process etc. But in traditional classes, it consumes many things.
16. In online classes, students are free to complete the course with their own learning
capacity. I mean the speed of learning can be fast and slow and it supports all kind
configured students. In traditional classes, some students are slow to respond, slow to
understand the topic, in that case, many times their doubts skipped. And not all care,
because teachers have to care more about the completion of syllabus, they have a
deadline from the principal, chancellor and deen office. Everyone has to be answered by
everyone. But in this case, the learners remain doubtful about the topics. Such doubts in
students mind create conflicts of interest and point of debates later in their career.
17. In online courses, students can find out the syllabus which one is the best for them
before enrolment. It can find out by total enrolled students, feedback’s and reviews,
course content and teachers experience. But in traditional classes you don’t know that
class content is up to date or not, is a teacher is experienced ? or is it in teaching job just
after the approach of political leaders.  
18. You can’t get lifetime access to the Traditional Classes. But it’s the advantages of online
classes that you can access it on any device anytime.
19. Online classes/online degrees are more suitable for higher classes such as for college
students or after bachelor students.  Online classes required some technical and basic
computer/internet knowledge.

more based on keyword research. It means online courses, classes, and syllabus are
created after researching keywords about what students want to learn or what

In conclusion, I must say that both are beneficial for students. Both have their own advantages
and disadvantages. It’s important for decision makers (students/education providers) to
understand the importance of the subject. For beginner students, it’s important for them to take a
traditional degree, diploma courses. Once they are efficient in the basics of any subject and got
learning abilities then they can join online degree programs. It’s similar for IT students to only
join online IT degree programs after the basics of Computer and computer science.

But the exception is this, if someone has great learning skills (willing to learn to achieve any
particular goals) then it’s not a problem of method, no matter they join online classes or
traditional classes. They are there for learning.

There are more advantages of taking classes in the classroom compared to taking them online;
such as being able to physically meet with the teacher, asking for feedback and seeing their
reaction.

The traditional way of taking class, which is called the classroom environment, has become a lot
easier to manage time because you are going to class everyday if not a little less. Students have
more time to meet with their peers and teacher and more time for homework to be done in the
classroom with the help of peers and your teacher. Many students learn best though the face to
face interaction or the hands on approach that is provided by teachers and peers while attending
classes in the classroom environment. Online classes might be effective for some students
however many students learn by doing, seeing, and being able to interact with the teacher and
their peers.

The social constructivist approach is based on the assumption that individuals learn to construct
their knowledge and meanings through interaction with others. It holds that knowledge is not
presented to the individuals, but emerges from active dialogue where people create their own
learning paths and knowledge. According to the constructivist approach, learners communicate
their knowledge to others who provide feedback. (Alkharusi, Hussain, Ali Kazem, and Ali Al-
MusawaQaboosi par. 10).

With online courses colleges and universities haves made tremendous impact on the instruction
and student learning. Distance education opportunities have brought the classroom from the
university or college settings to the home, allowing students the privilege of pursuing college
degrees without the inconvenience of actually traveling to campus to take the course.

Thousands of students are earning their degree with little or no traditional participation and no
interaction with the teacher or their peers. Students who learn by hands on or best thought the
face to face interaction lose all this when they take classes online since you can’t physical meet
with you teacher or peers. Some students also lack the technological skills needed to take online
classes which causes some students to struggle. Taking classes online is a lot cheaper than taking
them in the classroom because of the cost of gas to travel to classes and other financial expenses
like baby sister, food and drinks and book bag. Some students have a hard time getting internet
access and a computer since the cost of getting a computer is so expense.
Group assignments in the classroom environment have a more set schedule with more time for
the project to do in classroom. This is a lot easier, because you can only physically meet with
each other and be able to talk face to face with each other compared to trying to do the group
assignment online, which could be challenging because of scheduling conflicts.

The weekly schedule you have in the classroom environment all depends on the college you
attend and the teacher. At Iowa Central Community College, the weekly schedule was set up
with at least six to seven classes which were each two hours long and only met with the teacher
two to three times a week. With four to six hours a week of class time this allowed for a lot of
stuff to be taught in the 15 weeks we had in the first semester. Right now the accelerated classes
I am taking, only last 8 weeks compared to the normal 15 weeks in a semester.

The traditional way of taking classroom classes lets you have a total time of at least 60 hours of
face to face as to where the 8 weeks allows for only 32 hours of class. There are set schedules in
the classroom environment, but if the teacher feels their students do not understand the concept
they can change the schedule or adapt the teaching.

In the classroom environment the teacher can see who is putting the effort in the group
assignment and give the correct credit to the students who do the work and effort. This allows for
the students that don’t put in effort get the grade they deserve. Meeting your teacher and peers
face to face allows for better understanding of feedback, which you receive from your teacher
and peers on assignments and allows you to better improve your assignment before the final
copy has to be turn in to the teacher.

Group Assignments in online classes are a lot hard to plan and takes a lot of more time to figure
out when everyone can work on the project together or just to figure out on whom does what
part. When you have to email each other or using another program to communicate to each other
and figure out how to plan between everyone schedules.

Some colleges and universities used Blackboard or similar systems, which provides a structured
format for teachers to post announcements, assignments, course documents, faculty credentials
and course notes for easy student access. This helps with students taking the classes online to be
better prepared but it is able used with the classroom environment to. This even helps more with
the traditional way of taking classes because it allows the students to seek feedback from the
teacher in person and have a schedule, which they can view from anywhere if they have internet
and a computer.

Individual Assignments

In the traditional classroom environment the individual assignments can sometimes be hard and
you need help from the teacher

Online classes some teachers don’t require a test in their classes since it’s online and the teacher
knows the students will use their books. Instead they have them do more papers or homework
assignments which shows the teacher they are doing their work. Online classes lets the students
take responsibility for their own leaning more than traditional instructional approaches but some
students have a hard time learning if they are not being pushed to study for the tests and do the

and listen to the teacher or classmates. Students do not have many options besides learning. On the
other hand, online classes have no mentioned rules because there will be no guidance and their chance
of focusing on learning is very slow. There is more focus in the traditional classes than online classes.

Assignments in the traditional classroom have more set schedule with more time for project to do in the
classroom. Most important part of taking traditional classes in having an opportunity to interact with
teachers and classmates. If you have any problems with assignments or trouble understanding, you can
go straight to the teachers and classmates to help. In online class the learner is not directly interacting
with the faculty. So in case of having questions, students may find it difficult to ask their online
instructors. I also believe traditional classes provide more effective education than online classes. If a
student takes part in traditional methods of learning, then I think he/she will be socially and mentally
developed.

I strongly believe that traditional classes can provide more effective education. Traditional education can
also provide more opportunities to be a part of physical education. If I have to share my opinion and
knowledge, I would recommend taking traditional classes rather than taking online class.
