A General Requirements (For Subcontractor, Prime Contractor & NDT Service Provider Co.)

NDT Service Provider* has a written practice or procedure covering NDT

(Magnetic particle Testing) personnel training, experience, qualification,
and certification submitted to the Saudi Aramco Inspection Department,
Dhahran and approved.

A1 For in-kingdom works, written practice shall meet the minimum

requirements of ANSI/ASNT CP-189 (latest edition) plus the additions
and clarifications outlined in SAEP-1142.

Note: 1. Saudi Aramco has the right to request submission of, or granted access to, any and all training, experience, qualification and
certification records pertaining to NDT personnel (SAEP-1142, Para 5.4). Copies of each dossier shall be available in Project Records for
Personnel performing or expected to perform NDE. Coordinate & maintain an NDT Personnel Roster (Certs copy) on all Projects.
Note: 2. This checklist may be used to evaluate each one or a batch of personnel qualifications submitted in one transmittal.
