Dear Kmart manor lakes,

My name is Stephanie Montesa, and I am a year 10 student at Mackillop College interested in

applying for a casual customer service position in Kmart at Manor Lakes Central. As a self-driven and
innovative person, I can adapt to different situations and maintain organization skills to work
cooperatively with employees.

As a high school student, I’m a motivated individual with proven academic results over the years,
including maths, science, art, and English excellency awards. I have participated in programs with
RMIT and Deakin university where I have developed a range of different skills including teamwork,
communication, problem solving, critical thinking, and adaptability. I am also studying pre-methods
and VCE biology to enhance my abilities of problem solving and critical thinking. These skills can be
accounted in a workplace like Kmart.

My personal attributes make me conclude that I am an appropriate individual for your company
include:

Problem-solving: I can solve problems in different situations that are accounted in school projects
and tutor where it has allowed the development of my problem-solving skills.

Communication: I can change conversation styles with different people and use appropriate
language. I also speak Tagalog at home where it can be considered in a workplace environment.

Organisation: Having a schedule in school and homework, I am always organized by coming to

school and time and handing out homework on due dates.

My recommendations from parents and siblings show my ability to work and perform well in a
pressured workplace environment and solve my problems. Offering good organization skills,
respectful attitude, and determination has made me passionate about working with others in Kmart.

I am eager to learn and develop new skills at Kmart and I long to consider my application in an
