WELCOME.

Thank you for expressing an interest in holding your function, meeting or


special event at Kawana Waters Surf Life Saving Club.

Our renovated outdoor dining area overlooks children’s play area and park
before meeting the ocean, which our lifesavers spend numerous hours
protecting. The outdoor scenery is very pleasant, especially on a nice sunny
day. We have two air conditioned function rooms available for exclusive use
and a bar area which is ideal for nibbles and a few ice cold beers. Whatever
the occasion we can provide the perfect spot.

As we are an affiliated club, all patrons over 18 years of age must sign in at
the front reception desk using valid photo identification. Unfortunately due to
liquor licensing laws, we are unable to permit entry to any patrons, regardless
of age into the club without sighting a valid reciprocal membership card or
valid photo identification. Anyone under the age of 18 years will only be
permitted entrance if accompanied with a responsible parent or guardian. Any
children under the age of 15 years must be off premises by 10.00pm; children
under the age of 18 years must be accompanied by a parent at all times and
may remain on premises in the club in the function room hired until close.
Please ensure all yours guests are aware of these legal requirements.

DRESS REGULATIONS:
Footwear must be worn at all time. No Singlet’s or soiled work clothes after
6:00pm and no offensive logos, slogans or designs at any time.

TRADING HOURS:
Sunday to Thursday 10:00 am until 10:00pm
Friday and Saturday 10:00 am to Midnight
(If you are booking a meeting or conference that requires an earlier start this
can be arranged.)

BISTRO HOURS

LUNCH
Monday to Sunday 12noon to 2:00pm
DINNER
Monday to Thursday 6:00pm to 8:00pm
Friday and Saturday 6:00pm to 8:30pm
Sunday 5:00pm to 8:00pm

COURTESY BUS
Wednesday to Saturday 4:00pm to close
Sunday 3:00pm to close
Bus to the North runs on the hour
Bus to the South runs on the half hour
ROOM HIRE RATES:
For exclusive use of our air conditioned Function Rooms the following rates
apply:

NOEL TOWLER FUNCTION ROOM:

Sit down 30 pax maximum $100.00


Standing 50-60

GIRLS DORM FUNCTION ROOM:

Seats 50-60 $200.00


Standing 100 plus

Part of the outdoor dining area can be cordoned off to add to the Noel Towler
room for an additional $100.00.

Room capacity varies depending on whether it is for a sit down meal, buffet, or
finger food. This can be discussed with the Functions Coordinator.

ENTERTAINMENT:

Kawana Waters Surf Life Saving Club has live music every Friday Night and
karaoke on the first and third Saturday of each month. If you would like live
music outside of these days we may be able to arrange this for you at an
additional cost.

TABLE SETTINGS, TABLE ARRANGEMENTS AND OTHER COSTS:

All menus are inclusive of paper napkins, glassware and cutlery.


We charge set up costs for any other decorating.
You are welcome to come in and decorate with balloons and streamers.

LINEN:

White table linen is available at $15.00 per table.

QUOTES: Will be provided for all other decorations and table settings.

18th BIRTHDAY PARTIES:

These functions will only be booked with a $1000 deposit, refundable after the
event and only if there was no damage made to the club and the party was
not shut down.

A guest list will be required with the Full names of everybody attending and
with a maximum of 150 guests allowed.
18th Birthday Parties will only be booked with an additional two security guards
at a cost of $400.00 for the night.
Any disturbances caused inside or outside of the club will result in the party
being shut down.

One warning will be given to any underage minors who are caught with alcohol
and if a further incident takes place the party will automatically be shut down.

21st BIRTHDAY PARTIES:

These functions will only be booked with an additional security guard at a cost
of $200.00 for the night.

Our friendly staff are here to cater for all your special needs and requirements
to ensure your special event is successful.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF VENUE HIRE

Please read the following carefully:

To ensure that your function runs smoothly and efficiently the following Terms
and Conditions apply to all bookings.

• All prices are current, but may change on seasonal availability.


• A 20% deposit must be paid before confirmation of any booking.
• Final numbers must be confirmed and all monies paid in full 14 days
prior to the function date.
• In the event of a cancellation a full refund will only be given if the
cancellation is received in writing four weeks prior to the function date.
• The Club is licensed until midnight.
• No alcoholic beverages are to be brought onto the premises.
• The Club is not permitted by law to serve alcohol to intoxicated persons
or persons less than 18 years of age or to anyone behaving in an
offensive manner.
• For 21st birthday functions a security guard will be provided at an
additional cost of $200.00 for the evening.
• For 18th birthday functions a $1000 deposit is required and is refundable
after the event only if no damage has been caused to the club and the
party was not shut down.
• For 18th birthday functions 2 security guards will be provided at an
additional cost of $400.00 for the evening.
• Any guest without legal identification will not be permitted entry.
• Any damage that is deemed to be not fair wear and tear due to
inappropriate behaviour will result in the patron being responsible for
any cost incurred.
• The Management reserves the right to cancel any function if any of the
above terms and Conditions are not met.
