ABSTRACT
A thermodynamic system (also called working substance) is defined as the part of the
universe under study. A thermodynamic system can be a cell, a person, the steam from a
steam engine, the mixture of gasoline and air in a thermal engine, the Earth's atmosphere,
etc. The closed system, thus, has no connections with the external. The values of its
variables depend on the factors contained in the system itself and it is not related or
influenced by the outside.
There are several types of systems among them we have the closed system; It is the one that
exchanges energy (heat and work) but not matter with the surroundings (its mass remains
constant).
A closed system consists of a fixed amount of mass that can cross its border, no mass can
find or leave a closed system, but energy in the form of heat or work can cross the border
and the volume of a closed system does not have to be fixed .
A closed system is one that only uses its own resources. Only a job can be generated in a
closed system, a cost of the inhomogeneities of the system. Once the speeds are consumed,
the system reaches the midpoint, with maximum entropy, and useful work can no longer be
obtained.
The term is also used for fully structured systems, where the elements and relationships
combine in a peculiar and rigid way producing an invariable output. Headphones are
mechanical systems, like machines. Examples of closed systems: a pressure cooker that
does not allow gases to escape, a reactor in the laboratory.
In fact, this type of system is frequently used on long trips around the world at the time of
colonization, to transport plants.
