planted at 78% this week, 64% last week, 84% last year and 83% 5-Year average. Peanut Condition is 2% Very Poor, 6% Poor, 24%
Fair, 65% Good and 3% Excellent.

Weather allowed producers to rapidly plant dryland peanuts. Producers in southern counties had concerns
that increased moisture from the rain will lead to lower germination rates and increased risk for crop
disease. Poor seed quality has led to difficulty in attaining uniform and adequate stand of peanuts for some.
