PROTESTERS CRIMINAL ACTIVITY/LOOTERS
o Rightly outraged o Opportunists seizing and exploiting
o By and large peaceful moment
o Want overdue reforms o NYC was looted Bronx, Brooklyn,
o Manhattan businesses destroyed
1. Independent investigations o Police must protect the community
2. Discovery of records and property
3. No chokeholds
4. Excessive force standard
5. Education equity
6. Ending child poverty
o Congress should act now
We must separate
PROTESTING FROM LOOTING

Two very different situations, people

and issues.
Looting and criminal activity must
be immediately stopped.

Especially in New York City.

State has support ready and has
offered to all mayors:

State Police and 13,000 members of the

National Guard on standby.
Most cities have enacted a curfew to help police
stop looting not to effect peaceful protests.

Protesters:
Please be calm and peaceful
so police can handle
looting and criminal activity.
For Tonight

Protesters:
Please remember we are still in the
middle of a pandemic and the last thing
we want to do is increase the spread of
COVID-19.
WE MUST:
Address the righteous outrage
Heal the divisions
Protect our community & property
Stop the spread of COVID-19

All at the same time!

We will
