Introduction
In Cisco IOS® Software Release 15.2(2)T, the show voice call rate command was added to display the voice
call rate of a CUBE in tabular or histogram format. This allows for better call monitoring functionality for
calls with a duration of 60 seconds. In the future, Cisco plans to extend this duration to 60 minutes and to 72
hours, which aligns with how the show ISDN call rate command works.

Sample Output in Histogram Format

• In the above diagram, 15 call legs are created at the 4th second. Similarly 14 call legs are created at
28th second and 6 call legs at the 43rd second.
• The Y axis is dynamic. In other words, the Y axis in calculated dynamically if the cps of the system is
more than 100.

Sample Output in Tabular Format


• Period defines a duration of 5 seconds.
• Actual defines the number of call legs created over a period of 5 seconds.
• Average defines the average call legs created over a period of 5 seconds.
