ABSTRACT
Social media are websites and other online means of communication that are
used by large groups of people to share information and to develop social and
professional contacts. Almost all the people around the globe has accounts in different
social media platforms. Social media is a way of communicating others even at outskirts
place in the globe, this helps us become more friendly and more oriented about the
(70) Junior and Senior High School students of Leyte National High School of the
school year 2018-2019. The researchers conducted survey and analyzed the data. The
study found out that that majority of the LNHS students were using social media most of
their time. There is a positive correlation between the time spent in using social media
to the academic.
