distancing, it is not that possible to go inside the store and do shopping along with others. Since the
virus is spreading very rapidly, the govt. announces the official lockdown, in which all the non-essential
services need to shut their door to avoid any sort of public gathering that an reduce the chances of
spreading the virus. Most of the people want to purchase in-stores by checking the quality of the clothes
along with the style/ trends. Even they can try the clothes to check for their appropriate sizes. But by
closing the stores, all such thing could not be placed, hence resulted in the downfall in sales and the
economy.

SOLUTION: The IT solution of the problem identified above can be introducing the online shopping sites/
applications so that the people can access the remote application anywhere and anytime. There will not
be present physically in the store to purchase some stuff as the people can browser and order any
product through web. Almost every individual is made to stay home to save themselves and if they need
anything to buy, they can place an order online and they will get the demanded item soon.

FEASIBILITY OF THE SOLUTION: The above mentioned solution can decrease the difficulties of the retail
store employers and the customers as well. If people can find the product for which they are looking for,
they will increase their shopping satisfactions as they can save their traveling time. Also they can order
anything so they do not need to worry about the store timings. The main feature in this solution is that if
an item is running out of order in one store, then the individuals may needs to try any other brand or
visit somewhere else. But making an order online, can ease their efforts. They do not need to go
somewhere else as they can change the store location through web to order an item for themselves.
SWOT Analysis: SWOT stands for Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats.

Strengths: the strengths for the men’s retail store can be the financial backing of the retailers. Cheaper
prices of the wholesale items, raw items or the cheaper labor can also be another strengths. Also, if the
company is selling something unique as compare to its competitors present in the market can also be
considered as the strength of the company.

Weaknesses: By doing some statistical surveying, there might be an option for the retailers by which
they can verify if it has the weak image of the brand as compare it with the key competitors. For
instance, if a retail store sell the mix range of products such as cheaper products and expensive
products, there might be some chances that the store may or may not has the significant impact in the
consumer’s mind that can impact as the weakness of the retail industry.

Opportunities: Opportunities may include some of the consumer’s need that has not been filled yet. For
instance, if there are only men’s round neck T-shirts available in the store and the clients are looking for
some other variants in the T-shirts then the business owner can introduce some new style in the T-shirts
that can fulfil the customer’s demands. Also, a retail store figure out the opportunity to purchase some
of the small retail store or cheap material to develop the quality product and to increase the sales of the
company, using the SWOT analysis.

Threats; there are several threats that can be explored using the SWOT analysis such as the decreasing
the demands of the product/brand/company, wars about the product prices with the market
competitors, change of need of the product with respect to the time, season and environment is also a
threat factor in the retail stores.
