Day 99

Day 14
COVID-19 and Social Unrest
Two separate issues,
but an important week for NYS on both fronts:

Reopening of Opportunity for NYS

NYC on Day to lead the nation in
100 of COVID- wake of George
19 crisis Floyd murder
Opportunity for New York State
to lead the nation in wake of
George Floyd murder
Protests continued
across the state last night.
Saying together in one voice:
We are angry
We are frustrated
We are marching
We are tired
Demand ACTION
Remember:
people follow. No, it is often the people

AJ PARKINSON
If there is no struggle,
there is no progress.
FREDERICK DOUGLASS
Now once again
for New York to lead.
4 Cornerstones
• Transparency of prior disciplinary records 50-a
• No chokeholds
• Attorney General as special prosecutor
• False race-based 911 report prohibited
My opinion
The George Floyd
Reform Agenda
should be:
FEDERAL
BOLDER
Address core inequality and
injustice issues:

Education equity
Child poverty
Affordable housing
