Dear Parent/Guardian:
The Disabilities Law Program “DLP” of the Community Legal Aid Society, Inc. is an agency
that advocates for the rights of individuals with disabilities in Delaware. I have enclosed a
brochure that explains more about our organization and what we do. You can also locate
additional information about the DLP online at http://www.declasi.org/disabilities-law-program/.
This letter is to inform you of events which have occurred in the Christina School District
(“CSD”) and what your child’s rights may be if he or she has also been affected.
Although this review was limited to Glasgow, we recognize that these issues are not specific to
Glasgow. If you believe your child’s right to special education may have been violated during
the 2019-2020 school year and you are seeking assistance, feel free to contact Jacky Saez-
Rosario by phone at (302) 510-8283 or by email at jsaez-rosario@declasi.org, so we can discuss
your concerns.
Thank you.
Sincerely,
Stefanie Ramirez
