01 Confirm that Nameplate details are correct & in accordance with data sheet
02 Check for transit damage to feet
03 Confirm that the Equipment has been supplied as per the Data Sheet
04 Confirm that the Equipment has been installed to the design drawings & manufacturer’s
instructions
05 Confirm that the Preservation sheet is activated
06 Check that the holding down bolts are tight
07 Confirm that Sliding feet are free & bolts are locked
08 Saddles are fitted correctly
09 Check that test holes in reinforcement plates are open
10 Check that dewatering holes are located in appropriate positions
11 Earthing Strap installed to specification
12 Confirm that Vessel is level as per PEF’S
13 Check vessel for damage
14* Confirm that the Internal coating is undamaged.(If Applicable)
15* Confirm that Internals are installed as per latest Vendor / design drawing
16* Confirm that Internal of vessel is clean
17 If the vessel is an air receiver ensure the correct amount of desiccant is added & the grids are
secure
18 Confirm that Access through manway is adequate
19 Confirm that Vessel fittings and trims are complete
20 Confirm that All valves gauges & instrumentation are accessible
21 Confirm that All vents & drains are complete
22 Confirm that All access ladders and platforms are complete
23 Confirm that There is adequate access for removal of internals
24* Confirm that All bolting is torqued up to specification & nozzle loadings are adequate
25* For Contactor Tower (With Trays) - conduct chimney tray leak test. (as per Vendor data)
26 Confirm that the Vessel is closed out for Mechanical Completion
27 Check that all nozzles which are specified to be blinded are completed in accordance with
requirements and specifications
28 Check and inspect the welds of stiffening rings, especially for vacuum equipment
29 Check and inspect the strip lining, if applicable, especially at nozzle locations
30 Check the verticality of tall equipment and the correct slope, if any, of horizontal equipment
