Guidelines for Internships for Final Year Students of

B.Tech/MCA/HM/DESIGN/ MBA – JECRC University, Jaipur

Idea behind internship is to provide industry exposure to students, to make them

more employable. The internship cell aims at building a strong interface between
industry and university.

Duration of training/ internships period is 22 to 24 weeks. Students can do a single

training for more than 22 weeks. They can split it into two parts. The minimum
duration is 8 weeks. It is absolutely essential for students to complete minimum 20
weeks in a single company or in two companies.

Students, who fail to join internship because of any reason, will be declared fail in
semester.

False training / internships certificates will not be accepted. Student will be

declared fail.

Following Methodology will be used to evaluate the students: -

Total MARKS: 600 (Internal Marks: 300 + External Marks 300)

Internal Assessment by FIG : 100 marks.

Assessment by Industry guide : 100 marks,

Student presentation : 100 marks.

External Presentation Evaluation : 300 marks

(One external Expert and one internal Expert)

Internship Start Date : 1st January 2020

Submission of joining report to FIG : 8th January 2020

FlGs will compile reports on specified dates for each student as per the prescribed
formats

1. Employer Feedback ( through email) : 17th February 2020

[ 25% Completion of the Training]

2. Internal Presentation by Student Between 16th – 18th March,2020

3. Employer Feedback ( via Telephone) : 1st April 2020

[ 50% Completion of the Training]

4. Employer Feedback ( Physical Visit Evaluation) : 20th to 23rd April 2020

[ 65% Completion of the Training]

5. Internship End Date ( Tentative) : 19th June 2020

Deadline for Final Report submission to FlGs is : 24th June 2020

Department Internal evaluation : 23rd to 25th June 2020

External Presentation & Evaluation : 26th June to 30th June

Departments to send names of External Domain specific Experts to Internship

Directorate by June 8th, 2020

You are requested to keep students posted about this. Regular Feedback is a very
important dip stick to find out how students are performing during internship.
Ensure that it is done by FIG regularly. Feel free to reach Internship Team for any
