Artworks recreated with

household items
Do you think there is only one way to do art?

Objective: Let's be creative and use some stuff found at home and
recreate very famous artwork.

1. Click on the image included in this slide (The Scream by Edward

Munch, 1893) and explore the recreations done by very creative people
from all around the world. This was a challenge inspired by the
Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam and The Getty Museum. There, you will
find more ideas and some tips to do your own.
The Scream by Edward Munch, 1893
2. Pick one of the artworks from the last two slides and click on the
image to find more cool information about the artists.

3. Roll up your sleeves and start collecting stuff for your creation. Pay closed attention to every detail from the original
art piece and try to explore different ideas. Think outside the box!

4. This will be the art activity for this week. Take a good picture of your work and post it in Google Classroom or Seesaw.
Add a short caption explaining some details of your experience when creating this piece of art.
