Answer the following Questions. Your answers must not exceed more than 70 words. Copy
pasting from internet and from other peers is not allowed. Answers should be in simple, easy and
in your own words.
1. Narrate the series of events of Muhammad’s life (pbuh) depicted in the movie.
i.e., from the first revelation till the Muhammad’s death (pbuh).
Muhammad's first revelation was an event described in Islam as taking place in 610 AC, during
which the Islamic prophet, Muhammad was visited by the angel Jibrīl, known as Gabriel in
English, who revealed to him the beginnings of what would later become the Qur’an. The event
took place in a cave called Hira, located on the mountain Jabal an-Nour, near Mecca. As for the
exact date of this event, it has been calculated to be on Friday, the 17th of Ramadan at night, i.e.
August 6, 610 C.E. – when Muhammad was 40 lunar years, 6 months and 12 days of age, i.e. 39
Gregorian calendar years, 3 months and 22 days.[1] [2] 6 August 610 (Julian) was actually a
Thursday. The proleptic Gregorian calendar is two days ahead in the sixth century and three days
ahead in the seventh.

2. Summarize the Plot of the Movie. For example. Where and when did it take place?
Who were the main characters? What’s the story is about?
In this movie we see the life of Islam and how it started and how our Holy Prophet PBUH spread
Islam.

3. What happened in the court of the Abyssinian emperor, when Muslims had taken shelter
there to escape from the persecution of the Quraish? Quote as depicted in the movie.
The Migration to Abyssinia , also known as the First Hegira (Arabic hijrah), was an episode in
the early history of Islam, where Prophet Muhammad's first followers (the Sahabah) fled from
the persecution of the ruling Quraysh tribe of Mecca. They sought refuge in the Christian
Kingdom of Aksum, present-day Ethiopia and Eritrea (formerly referred to as Abyssinia, an
ancient name whose origin is debated),[1] in 9 BH (613 CE) or 7 BH (615 CE). The Aksumite
monarch who received them is known in Islamic sources as the Negus Ashama ibn Abjar.
Modern historians have alternatively identified him with King Armah and Ella Tsaham. Some of
the exiles returned to Mecca and made the hijra to Medina with Muhammad, while others
remained in Abyssinia until they came to Medina in 628.

4. On the farewell pilgrimage after the conquest of Mecca, what directions Muhammad
(pbuh) gave for the mankind? Tell as depicted in the movie. Do you think, mankind is
following those directions?

The Farewell Pilgrimage (Arabic: ‫ٱل َح ّج ْٱل َودَاع‬,

ْ romanized: Al-Ḥajj Al-Wadāʿ), 632 CE (10 AH), is
the final and only Hajj ('Pilgrimage') in which the (Prophet) Muhammad participated. Muslims
who accompanied him on this occasion observed every move, act, and gesture of Muhammad, all
of which became a precedent to be followed by Muslims all over the world.

5. You have studied Hinduism, Buddhism, Confucianism, Taoism, and Shintoism in

previous lectures. With respect to this lecture and movie, what is your opinion about
Islam? Elucidate.

The major religions of the world (Hinduism, Buddhism, Islam, Confucianism,

Christianity, Taoism, and Judaism) differ in many respects, including how each religion
is organized and the belief system each upholds. Other differences include the nature of
belief in a higher power, the history of how the world and the religion began, and the use
of sacred texts and objects.
