간단한 요리를 만들었어요. "I made a simple dish."
이 책을 먼저 읽으세요. "Please read this book first."
고기를 다져서 국에 넣어요. "Mince the meat and put it in the soup."

이것만 완성하면 푹 쉴 수 있어. "I just have to finish this, and then I get some
good rest."
저는 음식을 싱겁게 먹어요. "I like to eat food with little salt."

소금을 좀 넣어 주세요. "Please put in some salt."

4 Grammar Points
The Focus of This Lesson is Using the Conjunctions "and/with" - 랑/ -하고
아. 간장하고 소금을 넣어요.
"Oh, add soy sauce and salt."

-랑 (rang) and -하고 (hago) both mean "and, with" but we only use them with nouns and not
verbs or sentences. The conjunction that combines sentences that means "and" is 그리고 (
geurigo). We attach -랑 (rang) and -하고 (hago) to the nouns that they combine with the
following nouns. They are equally commonly used in colloquial situations and almost always
interchangeable. Therefore, Korean people tend to mix these two words in their speech
because using the same one word repeatedly can sound boring.
