Aim:
To deconstruct the hidden and implied meanings incorporated in the poem by dissecting the
stanzas and comprehending the usages of certain literary techniques.
To teach students to comprehend and appreciate the complexity of literary pieces and to enable
them to contribute into the literary studies by sharing their personal point of views.
Emphasize the understanding of natural writings in context of its heritage and the culture of its
production
Acquaint students with the literary tool to critically analysis the poetic texts
Introduce techniques for analytical discussion and critical writing
Particularly focused on how natural poetry endows voices to the voiceless
Objectives:

Assessment: students would be given different poems of the same genre and would be asked to
explore the environmental aspects as taught during the lecture through presentations, by doing so not
only students would understand the art of delineating the literary pieces they would also get an air of
confidence to share their point of views. They would be asked to build a thesis statement and then
expand on it by presenting multiple perspectives on PowerPoint.
