The pen is mightier than the sword- which states that thinking and writing have more influence on

people and events than the use of force or violence.

This has been proven by our National hero Dr. Jose Protacio Rizal.

And today ladies and gentlemen, members of the press, coaches and facilitators, welcome to Nalasin
Elementary School for this year’s District School Press Conference.

Let us all stand and be proud as we sing wholeheartedly the Phil. National Anthem And to invoke the
presence of our Almighty Creator, Mrs. Jenifer Macadangdang will lead us in prayer.

No one could ever put down a writer, once a writer will always be a writer with principles and powers.

And to give us an earnest welcome here in their prominent institution, let us give a resounding applause
to the school head of Nalasin ES, Mr. Reynerio Sadumiano.

Thank you sir. Indeed we are enjoying a comfy environment this time.

In writing you will not just alone and dark, instead it will a one way to develop friendship. To present to
us the participants for this year’s DSPC, may we give a resounding applause to Mrs. Glaiza Abuy,
chairman of the registration committee.

Once again welcome participants, I hope everyone will have a good bout in all of the contested
activities.

Speak up, and share your thoughts. And to challenge us writers in this DSPC, may we welcome
