SCHOOL ACTION PLAN

IN BSP/GSP PROGRAM

Rationale:

Every year, the GSP and BSP simultaneously pay homage to their founder by celebrating their anniversary with activities that would
create further awareness of their martyrdom and contribution to youth development. The importance of this program gives education to young
people, through a value system based on the Scout Promise and Law, to help build a better world where people are self-fulfilled as individuals
and play a constructive role in society.

Overview:

Scouting is one way of the Department of Education (DepEd) to inculcate the value of civic responsibility and nurture the mind and heart
of every individual especially the young minds. This co-curricular activity helps to develop every individual into well-rounded individual with
exemplary character worth the emulation of school children. Schools Division of Ilocos Norte and the BSP/GSP Laoag City Council linked
together to effectively carry out the program so that it will help in the holistic development of the children; to think critically and to act
responsibly.

Objectives:

In view of the aforementioned program, Suba Elementary School of Paoay District adopted the aims of the Scouting program with the
following objectives:

1. to strengthen civic responsibility and critical minds of the pupils;

2. to increase BSP/GSP membership/registration in school; and
