ABSTRACT
This study was conducted to know the effectiveness of baking soda and calamansi
juice as a teeth whitener instead of using other expensive tooth whitening products.
The mixture was applied to the eggshell (as an alternative for teeth) alternately for
1 week to determine the whiteness of the mixture can make. This study helps us to
save more money by using the mixture than using expensive tooth whitening
products.

INTRODUCTION
Conventionally, the best selling product for toothpaste nowadays, specifically
when it comes to whitening our tooth, baking soda with calamansi extract are
easier to make and affordable.
Which can be an alternative for tooth whitening.

This research set to determine the possible of baking soda and calamansi extract as
an accumulative for whitening tooth.

This study wanted to find out the difference between the mixture of baking soda
and calamansi extract with a Brand X toothpaste in terms of whitening our tooth
and the expensiveness of other branded toothpaste.
The effects of the different immersion of baking soda with calamansi extract on the
Brand X toothpaste in terms of the money that we will be able to save.
SIGNIFICANCE OF THE STUDY
This study is intended to save more money for the customers of that toothpaste.
Furthermore, the result of this study could give more information to the customers
and especially to the researchers on the effectiveness of baking soda and calamansi
juice as a teeth whitening, which is more cheaper.

DEFINITION OF TERMS
Baking Soda:
This is a kind of salt that is used to make baked foods (such as cookies and breads)
light and fluffy.

Calamansi Juice:
This is the extract of the Calamansi.

Toothpaste:
This is a substance for cleaning the teeth.

METHODOLOGY
Collection and Preparation:
Baking Soda and Calamansi were bought from the public market. Manual
extracting of the Calamansi Juice then the mixing of the Baking Soda and extracted
juice.

The eggshells are soaked in the water with the nicotine of different cups.
We brushed the other egg with toothpaste… ..And another one with calamansi extract

So this would be the result..

QUALITY TEST
The test was done by comparing the eggshells. Each eggshells are of
already in different colors or shade of colors. -Testing the Effectiveness
on Different Eggshells.
The setups were used to brush into different eggshells.

RESULTS AND DISCUSSIONS

In Setup A (the product is used), in Setup B (the Brand X toothpaste is used)
