GENERAL
The different versions
C05 (Instrument cluster 05): new, produced and made by Siemens VDO in 2 versions
: High (Comfort) and Basic (the Basic display unit is available in 2 variants
depending on the control used).

HIGH (Comfort) BASIC (control via radio fingertip control)

and ECO (control via windscreen
wiper button)

Differences compared to IC04 :

Electrical differences :
 1 supplementary connector for the independent heating, CAN bus 2/3,
J1587/2 bus and radio controls.
 The independent heating clock is integrated into the display.
 The display unit is connected to : the + Direct battery / to the +IG / to the
+APC.
Mechanical differences :
 Smaller, heavier.
 Different mounting on dashboard (cover hiding the front).
 Improved display screen : better quality anti-glare glass display screen.
 Fixed display screen, cannot be removed (dust-resistant and no need to
change the screen as it is made of glass).
 There is no longer a display button : function transferred to the radio controls
(High and Basic) or windscreen wiper stalk button (Eco).
Visible differences :
 +1 info LED: indicates new information present on the display when this is not
a STOP or SERVICE fault.
 No oil pressure / level gauge; information available in the display matrix. The
oil level is permanently displayed when switching on.
 Digital speed display.
 Revolution counter zoning according to engine speed.
 Investment in colours (from white) and brilliance (better visibility during the
day).
 4 flashing lights (tractor + trailer).
 No function lights.
 On the High version : new information appears in large format, with retrieved
faults and information in the form of icons.
