1& half month internship at OGDCL (Oil & Gas Development Company limited) head
office, Islamabad

I have worked at Network Cell of OGDCL head office. Worked with CISCO 2621 XM
Router using Dial in access server (Async,CHAP) to connect remote users(phone Line)
by dialing our router, Catalyst 2948 GL3 switches on each floor for LAN users,
configured VLANS on each switch as well Managed system and Networking of 700
computers, running windows XP professional, Provided internet facility using Squid
server Networking and updating computer and systems for proper information
transferability. Responsibilities included

DESIGN AND SIMULATION OF OVERHEAD VS UNDERGROUND ELECTRIC

POWER DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM OF MUQADDAS TOWN ABBOTTABAD

Final year project included the following attributes

 To calculate the existing and proposed load of the town.
 To design the overhead and underground electrical map of the town in such a
way that the town load is distributed equally on each transformer.
 To design the electrical maintenance of the town for underground and overhead
electrical systems.
 Power losses calculation with all respects.
 Cost and benefit comparison of underground and overhead electrical systems of
the town.
 Check on the stability of the electrical design for next 20 years.
