The Palit Bote project is generated by SSG Offcers which aims related in the line with the mission-vision
of the environmental care, this project will help promote cleanliness and awareness of individuals about
3Rs: Reuse,Reduce and Recycle.

The purpose of this action project is to serve in the community in simple ways conjunct wth the
preservation of environment and demonstrate how progress is being made in effective waste
management and collection of used bottles.

Proposed Budget:

The expenses will be used for school supplies as an exchanging item. The budget for this is estimated at
500php to 1000php which will be given by selected sponsors.

Target Beneficiaries:

Cathlean students (atleast 20 heads per day)

Description:

Plastic bottles are becoming the growing segment of the municipal solid waste stream. But it offers
convenience and also create necessary waste in landfills. When wet think about huge amount of plastics
we produce and the problems that can occur when we try to dispose plastic bottles, we can positively
impact the environment in several ways. As we have always observed , every time we collect plastic
bottles, we bring it to the junkshop to get little amount of income and this encourage people to bring
those empty bottles and not just throw them away. Instead of doing the same thing, the organization
will run the project through an exchange item process( e.g. 1 liter bottle= 3 bond papers)

Objectives:

1. To promote cleanliness and awareness in recycling

2. To expose students and Majayjay citizens in environmental activities

3. To develop discipline of the community for the effects of climate change

4. To support other environmental projects

5. To reduce plastic wastes in the environment

Methodology:
