Registration for the EVEN Semester 2010-11

The Students are required to note the following:

1. Important Dates to be noted :

Dates of Registration : 16th & 20th December, 2010

(Thursday & Monday)

Class work commences on : 21st December, 2010 (Tuesday)

Mid-Semester Examinations : 14th to 19th Feb., 2011

(Monday to Saturday)

Last working day of the Semester : 8th April, 2011 (Friday)

2. Fees to be paid :

All students must be present physically on the days of registration

mentioned above. Before coming for registration, they must pay the Institute
fees by challan only at State Bank of Hyderabad (SBH), NIT Branch,
Warangal with Director Account No.: 52109375198. They also must clear
the hostel dues.
* The additional Rs. 250/- is towards the “Spring Spree-2011”.

6) Note:

(i) It is advised to come with Challan only at State Bank of Hyderabad (SBH)
NIT, Warangal with Director Account No. 52109375198.
(ii) Registration will be entertained only if the student produces
No dues from the Hostel Office and Institute fee receipt.
(iii) Registration in absentia will not be entertained.
(iv) (ii) is applicable to all scholarship holders also. They are not exempted in
any manner. Registration will not be entertained otherwise.
(v) The above table (s) does not include Hostel fees. They have to be paid
separately to the Hostel office.
(vi) The minimum attendance requirement in each course is 75% for UG
Students and 80% for PG Students. If the student does not fulfill this
minimum attendance requirement, he will not be permitted to write the
end-semester examinations. This will ultimately result in loss of one year
for the student. Therefore, every student is advised to attend all the
classes from first day to last day of the semester.

7) LATE REGISTRATION:

If a candidate does not register on the dates mentioned above, he will be

charged a fine as follows:

i) From 21.12.2010 to 24.12.2010 : Rs.200/- per day

(Tuesday to Friday)
ii) From 27.12.2010 to 31.12.2010 : Rs.800 +
(Monday to Friday) Rs. 400/- per day
with Director’s approval
iii) After 31.12.2010 student will not be allowed to register for that
Semester.

8) Ph.D. SCHOLARS
All the Ph.D. Scholars (both full time and part-time) must register for their
programme on the dates mentioned above.
At the time of registration, they must:

(i) be present physically

(ii) clear all the dues (both Institute fees and hostel dues)
(iii) Submit a progress report (1 to 2 pages) on the work performed up to that
date and plan for future work. The report must be signed by the student
and proceed through DSC
(iv) if the scholar does not perform the registration, his admission will
be cancelled and he may be considered for readmission, paying all
the admission fees.
