Brief Explanation on concept:

SAMOS CHEESECAKE is a dessert Coffee shop, inspired from the Original Samos Islands
where the first Cheesecake recipe and production has been recorded, according to
archaeologist findings this is as old as 2000 BC.
The cheesecake recipe was brought to the rest of Europe by the Romans, for centuries several
European countries have developed according to the local ingredients, after 1th world war the
recipe was taken to the USA by a European communities of emigrants Cheesecake lover and
the cheesecake found its last two main ingredients! American cream cheese invented during
the 18 century by accident and graham crackers that we find in today’s classic New York
cheesecake.
Over 25 years ago, specific 1990, My-self, Pastry Chef Candido Santos, tasted my first
cheesecake and was taken by its aromas, silky cheese flavour and crunchy crust. So My love
for this dessert has taken me around the world for over 25 year developing the collection of
cheese cake everywhere I worked, yet not knowing what to do with it! but I still doing and
developing it, after working in London where the first success on cheesecake sales and
repeating it in Romania 8 years later, the cheesecake started to get attention from media and
customers, becoming known as the best cheesecake in both country’s, the company has
implemented the cheesecake as a signature dish in all they hotels,( JW Marriott) but only two
types out of 30 favour’s was given to the company. 2015 after a marketing experiment the
results ware very positive.
This time, I decided it was the right time to create something special, SO the Idea for Samos
was Born.
I put a team together and we opened two pilot shops for 18 moths, this has given us direct
feedback and time to developed the concept in a real scenario. The Brand has taken very well
and we found good position in a very Bing competitive market next to some of the world
biggest brand like,( Starbucks, Gloria jean, 2-ccup, Tucano coffee, Monke coffee by Don
café. Paul bakery). And We stand out as unique high-quality brand
This work probably represents best cheesecake collection in the world and Samos cheesecake
was born to bring back to live so that you and your friends can enjoy the 4000 years of
development of THE CHEESECAKE and probably the greatest dessert available with such
human history.

The Idea.
The idea behind Samos Cheesecake is to bring a coffee shop to the market that would stand
out of the competition and not to be a patisserie.
Cheesecake is a product that is found in every coffee shop but not developed to its unique
capacity of diversity and as a selling point.

Samos Cheesecake have a great history supporting the brand

We have now secured European trademark, we already filed trademark for UAE, USA,
China, Russia and other 17 countries under the Madrid convention system.
As we already have the whole Europe trademark secured the other countries is 99% secured
too, giving us trademark in 53 Country's

We decided to close the company closed the two shops in June 2017 as we wait for
trademark and focus marketing research, restructuring the company to be able to function and
be ready for a global Market
Now that we have all organisation goals set, we ready to move forward
I'm based in Macau China. As I have a Macau residency it facilitates getting into the Chinese
market
The Chinese Market growth on coffee shop business has been at 20% rate since 2014 and is
predicted that will keep growing for the next 10 to 15 years at similar rate
Launching a start up in Macau has great tax benefits as there's no tax under 800.000 euros
profits and no VAT.
With the great bay development ambitious projects in the world by Chinese government and
one of the strongest income nations in the world it put as in very good strategic market
