ARTICLES OF INCORPORATION

KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:

That we, all of age, majority of whom are citizens and residents of the Philippines, have
this day voluntarily associated ourselves together for the purpose of forming a non-stock
corporation under the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.

AND HEREBY CERTIFY:

FIRST: That the name of the corporation shall be: PLUMA Y TINTA

SECOND: That the purposes for which the corporation is formed are as follows:
1. To promote the literary, consciousness, appreciation, and culture in the
Philippines;
2. To cultivate and train young artistic minds, to develop creativity and critical
thinking through literary seminars, forums, conventions and events to be organized by the
association;
3. To assist talented writers in the publication of literary works for general
circulation, in order to be able to allow new writers to gain popularity.
4. All other matters incidental to the cultivation of literary talents.

THIRD: That the place where the principal office of the corporation is to be established
or located to be in the City of Manila, Philippines.

FOURTH: That the term for which said corporation is to exist shall be FIFTY (50) years
from and after the date of incorporation.

FIFTH: That the names, nationalities, and residences of the incorporators of said
corporation are as follows:

EIGHT: That no part of the income which the association may obtain as an incident to its
operation shall be distributed as dividends to its members, trustees or officers, subject to the
provisions of the Corporation Code on dissolution. Any profit obtained by the association as a
result of its operation, whenever necessary or proper, shall be used for the furtherance of the
purposes enumerated in Article II, subject to the provision of Title XI of the Corporation Code of
the Philippines.
That the amount of money to be devoted to the maintenance of said corporation is such
sum as may from time to time be received from contribution, donation, and/or endowment from
the government or the public, and such property or money as may from time to time be received
or acquired by deed, grant, devise, bequest, or gift.

NINTH: That Tenorio Mathan has been elected by the members as treasurer of the
corporation, to act as such until his successor is duly elected and qualified in accordance with
the by-laws and that as such treasurer, he has been authorized for the corporation to receive in its
name all contributions and/or donations given to the corporation.
