I was an orphan, lost at the fall;

running away when I’d hear you call,

But Father, you worked your will.

I had no righteousness of my own

I had no right to draw near your throne,

But Father, you loved me still.

And in love,

before you laid the world’s foundation,

You predestined

to adopt me as your own.

You have raised me up

so high above my station;

I’m a child of God by grace,

and grace alone

You left your home to seek out the lost;

You knew the great and terrible cost

But Jesus, your face was set.

I worked my fingers down to the bone;

Nothing I did could ever atone,

Jesus, you paid my debt.

By your blood

I have redemption and salvation.

Lord you died

that I might reap what you have sown,

And you rose

that I might be a new creation.

I am born again by grace,

and grace alone.

I was in darkness all of my life,

I never knew the day from the night,

But Spirit, you made me see.

I swore I knew the way on my own;

Head full of rocks,

a heart made of stone

But Spirit, you moved in me.

And At your touch

my sleeping spirit was awakened;

On my darkened heart

the light of Christ has shone.

Called into a kingdom

that cannot be shaken;

Heaven’s citizen by grace,

and grace alone.

So I’ll stand in faith by grace,

and grace alone

I will run the race by grace,

and grace alone

I will slay my sin by grace,

and grace alone

I will reach the end by grace,

and grace alone

How rich a treasure we possess

in Jesus Christ our Lord.

His blood our ransom and defense,

His glory our reward.

The sum of all created things

is worthless in compare.

For our inheritance is Him,

whose praise angels declare.

How free and costly was the love
displayed upon the cross.

While we were dead in untold sin,

the Sovereign purchased us.

The will of God the Father

demonstrated through the Son.

The Spirit seals the greatest work,

the work which Christ has done.

How vast and measureless the flood

of mercy unrestrained.

The penalty was paid in full,

the spotless lamb was slain.

Salvation, what a priceless gift,

received by grace through faith.

We stand in robes of righteousness,

we stand in Jesus’ name.

Yours is the Kingdom

And the power and the glory

Yours is the Kingdom

And the power and the glory

Yours is the Kingdom

And the power and the glory

Amen!

My Redeemer’s love is deeper

Than the depths of sin and hell

He who was enthroned in glory

Came to bring us to Himself

My Redeemer’s love is wider

Than the breach my sins had made

He reached down into my darkness

He alone has pow’r to save

Deeper than the rolling seas

Higher than the mountain peaks

Your love is all I need

My Redeemer’s love is stronger

Than my fiercest enemies

He will hold me in the tempest

Through the flood He carries me

My Redeemer’s love will lead me

Through the deepest valley here

He will shepherd me and guide me

He will ever keep me near

Deeper than the rolling seas

Higher than the mountain peaks

Your love is all I need

Stronger than the rushing wind

Shattering the power of sin

Your love is all I need

My Redeemer’s love grows sweeter

As eternity draws near

I’ll enjoy His love forever

At His throne for endless years

My Redeemer’s love will fill me

On the day I see His face

I will love Him back forever

And forever sing His praise

And forever sing His praise

And forever sing His praise

Deeper than the rolling seas

Higher than the mountain peaks

Your love is all I need

Stronger than the rushing wind

Shattering the power of sin

Your love is all I need

The mystery of the cross

I cannot comprehend

The agonies of Calvary

You the perfect Holy One,

crushed Your Son

Who drank the bitter cup

reserved for me
Your blood

has washed away my sin

Jesus, thank You

The Father’s wrath

completely satisfied

Jesus, thank You

Once Your enemy,

now seated at Your table

Jesus, thank You

By Your perfect sacrifice

I’ve been brought near

Your enemy

You’ve made Your friend

Pouring out the riches

of Your glorious grace

Your mercy and Your kindness

know no end
Your blood

has washed away my sin

Jesus, thank You

The Father’s wrath

completely satisfied

Jesus, thank You

Once Your enemy,

now seated at Your table

Jesus, thank You

Lover of my soul

I want to live for You

(Repeat)
Lover of my soul

I want to live for You

(Repeat)
Your blood

has washed away my sin

Jesus, thank You

The Father’s wrath

completely satisfied

Jesus, thank You

Once Your enemy,

now seated at Your table

Jesus, thank You

Jesus, Thank You

O great God of highest heaven

Occupy my lowly heart

Own it all and reign supreme

Conquer every rebel power

Let no vice or sin remain

That resists Your holy war

You have loved and purchased me

Make me Yours forevermore

I was blinded by my sin

Had no ears to hear Your voice

Did not know Your love within

Had no taste for heaven’s joys

Then Your Spirit gave me life

Opened up Your Word to me

Through the gospel of Your Son

Gave me endless hope and peace

Help me now to live a life

That’s dependent on Your grace

Keep my heart and guard my soul

From the evils that I face

You are worthy to be praised

With my every thought and deed

O great God of highest heaven

Glorify Your Name through me

How sweet and awe-ful is the place

With Christ within the doors,

While everlasting love displays

The choicest of her stores.
While all our hearts

and all our songs

Join to admire the feast,

Each of us cry,

with thankful tongues,

“Lord, why was I a guest?”
“Why was I made

to hear Thy voice,

And enter while there’s room,

When thousands make

a wretched choice,

And rather starve than come?”
‘Twas the same love

that spread the feast

That sweetly drew us in;

Else we had still refused to taste,

And perished in our sin.
Pity the nations, O our God,

Constrain the earth to come;

Send Thy victorious Word abroad,

And bring the strangers home.
We long to see Thy churches full,

That all the chosen race

May, with one voice

and heart and soul,

Sing Thy redeeming grace.

How Sweet and Awesome Is the Place
