January 10, 2011 CURRICULUM VITAE

About me
I was born 07.08.1981 in Zadar, former Yugoslavia, and today’s Croatia.
At age of seven I had my first music experience at local school.
1991 war started and my family and I moved to Cuprija, Serbia when I enrolled Special
School for musically gifted children”Horeum Margi”.
With choir, school orchestra and various chamber ensembles very soon I started to play concerts and travel
across Ex Yugoslavia and most Balkan countries. Horeum Margi is a Boarding school with special study program.
I can say that in those 8 years I have played about 500 concerts.

In 1999 I was accepted at Music University Belgrade, Serbia.

As a student from countryside I was forced to study hard and work at same time as well.
I have changed a lot of orchestras searching for my place to fit in but as soon I finished University in Belgrade I
have realized that I have to continue my education more wide.
In 2005 I have started to play Viola and I had serious plans to enroll Viola masters program.
At that time my University was switching to Bologna convention and I have gave up due complications of my
status.
During that year the whole class of 2005 had to wait one year so our status could clarify as Master.
That was seriously disappointing while I invested the whole year studying with University professor and practicing
Viola program for entrance exam.

In 2006 I have passed Violin entrance exam for Chamber Music department at University of Music and Performing
Arts Vienna, Austria. After one year as I already planned I have officially switched to Viola.
During my studies in Vienna I have played in many orchestras, quartets, trios, duos and bands.
Life as double instrumentalist was hard at the beginning. Different instrument size, clef. I can proudly say that after
one year I have mastered switching to both instruments without any stress.

I would like to say for me that I am a modest person, but It is hard. Stakes are today very high and my are
ambitions too.
I was raised as a family person so my goals are to provide my family as much as I can.
I am hard working person and ready to meet new challenges and easily work in different environments.
I can say that I am a very communicative and open person, always happy to meet different people and learn
something new.

In addition I write and speak fluently most Slavic languages, English and German.
