I'm an architectural professional with experience working for an engineering firm as Design/Technical Coordinator with comprehensive
knowledge of the building regulations, and as part of my role I look after the design and technical delivery of different projects for the
company. Projects range from structure steelworks or steel Frame to bespoke architecture steelworks for Residential, Commercial and
Private buildings.

I am a highly motivated, results-driven individual with valuable work experience in the construction industry. I’m actively looking for an
opportunity as Technical or Design Coordinator / Assistant Technical or Design Coordinator in the industry with a developer or main
contractor.

B & W ENGINEERING Some Projects I’ve worked on;

Design/Technical Coordinator
July 2018 – June 2020
● I provide architectural and technical support and
assistance to the Project Management team.
● I work to resolve day-to-day contract documentation
issues with the work information.
● I carry out Construction Readiness Reviews and
Constructability Assessments in line with project
requirements and liaise with internal & external
stakeholders where required.
● I brief, manage and drive internal and external
stakeholders in the preparation, issue, and approval of
construction drawings to the agreed project timeline.
● I produce drawings from design-build status and
extract into schematic and technical drawings for
clients and construction.
● I review, comment and approve construction and
subcontractors drawings ahead of the proposed
execution date on site.
● I ensure the objectives and project quality standards
are met.
● I document project process and update RFI
● I visit the site to ensure delivery of the project
according to the drawing and contract requirements.
● I have a working knowledge of UK Building Regulations
and NHBC standards in order to prepare documents for

On this project, I was involved with the design and
delivery of balconies, balustrade and railings on this
project. Working alongside the technical team and
using the architects drawing to extract the
information needed to design the necessary
steelworks.
Project: Legacy Wharf, Cooks Road, Stratford.
Phase 1
Client: ​Bellway Homes
Value: £1.2m
On this project, I was involved with designing the
balconies, railings and balustrade with the
connection detail and making sure it passes
calculations to british standards and the eurocode.
After delivery I also provided “As Built” drawings for
the O&M Manuals.
Project: Hope House, Bath
Client: ​JJ Rhatigan
Value: £800k
This project is on a unesco heritage site, and I was
tasked with designing some structure steel, railings
and balustrade.The balustrade designs needed to
be very specific as it is a heritage site and one of
the finials specified was last made over 60 years
ago. I had to design a template for the final to be
forged in order to deliver on the project.

Architectural Technician ​ Sept 2017 – June 2018

● Prepare technical drawings using CAD software and also other traditional and conventional drawing methods
● Prepare applications for approval by the regulatory body
● Monitor the health and safety aspect of the design
● I advise the project team on design and technical matters.
● Prepare specifications for construction
● Documenting the project process and updating RFI
● Visit the site to check on progress and inspect work.
