What reasons brought about the repeal of R.A. 545?
Since most of the sections need to be amended and new sections are to be introduced for
inclusion, it is best to repeal it.

Yes. However, promulgation of an Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) is needed to carry

In R.A. 9266, it is not included in the 2-year apprenticeship. However, UAP now allows OJT as part
of the 2-year apprenticeship.

No. The mentor-architect must have an IAPOA certificate.
If a graduate of architecture worked abroad and acquired extensive training in the different phases
of architectural work but has no Filipino architect to vouch for him/her, can he/she still submit an
affidavit of Diversified Architectural Experience (2-year apprenticeship) signed by a foreign mentor-

Consulting Architect
An architect with exceptional or recognized expertise or specialization in any branch of
Architecture.

Documents attached to the agreement, including all additions, deletions and modifications
incorporated therein which generally includes:

Drawings and specifications and other contract documents duly signed, stamped or sealed, as

or buildings, whether executed partly or in whole, without the written consent of architect or author
of said documents.
