TESTING OBJECTIVES

2.1 To ensure that HT switchgear panels and bus ducts are correctly
assembled, erected and tested in accordance with good engineering
practices.
2.2 To ensure that equipments and all its components conform to the
specifications agreed in the terms and conditions of the contract.
2.3 To prove the equipments are capable of operation under service conditions.

Checks and Tests To be Carried out:

46. Ensure that no part of bus duct is open and supports are
permanent.
47. Ensure that bus duct earthing is done.
