Ocean, and China Sea. It also is a common trope within fantasy and
even sci fi stories, games, and settings. While this game focuses on the
Golden Age of Piracy in the Caribbean, the rules do not limit Game
Masters or players to this one location

unemployed sailors, massive increases in international shipping,
and continuous wars fought by various world powers drove this

blossoming of piratical action.


Blackbeard, Anne Bonny, Bartholomew Roberts, Ching Shih, Henry
Morgan, Moses Cohen Henriques, Mary Read, and Jean LaFitte are
just a few of the famous pirates who operated during this time.
Ching Shih operated the largest fleet of pirate ships ever in
history, and she defeated the entire Chinese Navy. Henry Morgan
sacked some of the most powerful Spanish cities in the Caribbean,
including a daring campaign across Panama. Roberts is famous
