EMPLOYEE GOALS ADDITION/ UPDATION AND NOTIFICATION

1. ADDING AND EDITING GOALS.

STEP 1: Access the document by following below navigation: Main Menu > Self Service > Performance
Management > My Performance Document > Current Documents

Once the below page opens, click on the document


STEP 2: Click on “ADD GOAL” option from bottom and then click on “OK, Got it!” option
You will get 3 options to “ADD GOAL”. Selected the required option and click on “Next”

A. If selected “Write your own goal” option

After clicking on “Next”, follow below steps:

1. Write Goal title and Goal description


2. Due Date – It should be selected as the last date of that performance year e.g. for performance period
1sr April 2019 to 31st March 2020, due date will be 31st March 2020.
3. In “My Reflection This Goal is” – Select option NORMAL or STRETCHED as mention by Manager
4. WEIGHTAGE IN % - Weight the goal in %

Once all the details are updated, click on “ADD”


Similarly, you can add maximum 8 goals and Total Weightage of the total goals added should be 100%.
You can also make necessary changes in the goals or delete goals, if any, by clicking on Edit and Delete option.

B. If selected “Import goals from your sample goal library” option

After clicking on “Next”, you will get “Goal library” i.e. list of no. of goals for selection.
Select the goals from the goal list and once selected, click on “Add”
You will also get the option of selecting and deselecting all goals from the list.

Once click on Add, you will see the list of goals in your performance document.
2. ADDING AND EDITING MDP:

Once all the goals are added, click on “Create MDP” option

STEP 3: Once click on Create MDP, new tab will get open where you have to click on “ADD
DEVELOPMENT PLAN” mentioned in bottom of the page.
Select your “Development Need” from the drop down

Further, you will get 2 option,

A. “SEARCH BY AREA OF DEVELOPMENT” and


B. “SEARCH BY TRAINING”

A. If selected option, “SEARCH BY TRAINING”, add the training details in the search bar and
click on Add
B. If selected option, “SEARCH BY AREA OF DEVELOPMENT”, you will further get option to
select Competency and Sub Competency

Once selected, click on “ADD”


After clicking on “ADD” option, please follow below steps to add MDP

1. Select the required option from “How would you prefer to learn?
2. Update Manually in “Please provide additional details (if any) – Not Mandatory
3. Update Manually in “Comments (if any) – Not Mandatory
4. Attachment (if any) – Not Mandatory
5. Due Date – Drag the due date i.e. by when MDP will be completed
Once updated all the mentioned columns, click on “SAVE”

Similarly, you can add more trainings in your MDP by clicking on “ADD DEVELOPMENT PLAN”

Once MDP is created, Click on “SUBMIT”

Click on “Yes”.
Your MDP is created in your performance document.
3. NOTIFYING MANAGER FOR APPROVAL OF GOALS

STEP 4: Click on “Notify” available in the right side bottom.

Select the option from the pop – up and click on “Good to Submit”
Once click on “Good to Submit”, write message to the Manager (if any – Not mandatory) and click on “SEND”

Click on “OK” and your goals are successfully added and sent to Manager for approval.
Now you see that the document status has changed from “Goal Setting” to “Employee Evaluation in
Progress” stage.

EMPLOYEE SELF-EVALUATION

1. SELF RATING AND ADDING COMMENTS:

STEP 1: Access the document by following below navigation: Main Menu > Self Service > Performance
Management > My Performance Document > Current Documents

Click on the document


STEP 2: Click on “Let’s get started!”

Once click on “Lets get Started!” option, where you need to rate and update comments in each added goal.

Rating Scale is as mentioned below:

Delivered Full Performance - Employee delivered full performance and met the targets satisfactorily and on few
occasions, the employee exceeded the level of performance

Outperformed - Employee consistently & significantly exceeded the performance target and outperformed on
the desired level of performance

Significantly Outperformed - Employee has set new benchmark for high performance by exceptionally and
uniquely contributing to the business/functional/ team goals

Partially Delivered Performance - On few occasion, employee performed below the expected level of
performance and did not meet the targets satisfactorily.

Inadequate Performance - Employee performed significantly below the expected level of performance and
failed to meet the targets
STEP 3: Once rated all goals, click on option “VALUES” tab

On Values page, click on each values to rate and comments.

In the below screenshot, on the right hand side, you will see the rating description which you can refer for rating
values in your document.
Once all Values are rated and commented, Click on “SUMMARY” tab

STEP 4: On Summary page, you will get 3 options which needs to be rate and commented.

a. Reflect
b. Career Aspiration
c. How do you rate your performance for the year?
Once the Final ratings and comments are updated, click on “Complete”.

Click on “Confirm”

Your Performance Document will move to “Manager Evaluation in progress” stage.
