- A comparison between two different things which have something in common. The word
AS or LIKE is used to compare the two words.

Direction: Write SIMILE if the given sentence is a simile and METAPHOR if it is a metaphor.
1. The bar of soap was a slippery eel during the dog’s bath.

V. Assignment
Write sentences with simile and metaphor. Give 5 sentences each. Write your answer in a ½
sheet of paper crosswise.
