General comments/Message to the course instructor

Good day sir. I admire you for being very passionate in teaching. You are very
knowledgeable in the classes that you are handling. No one could ever deny that you are a
brilliant teacher when it comes to the knowledge and the information that you have considering
that you are already a master in your chosen field. Every meeting I am more amazed with the
information that you are able to share to us. Your brilliance clearly shows that you have spent
thousands of hours in order to master and embody the ideas of sociology and also political
sociology.

As a student I am very thankful that you are my professor because you have pushed us to
go beyond what is expected for us. You made us realize to see the world in a different
perspective. Because of you I learned that everything is connected to one another. Everything
that I do is connected and my decision is actually not my decision because it is also affected by
external factors.

I may not be one of your best students but I can clearly say that you are an amazing
teacher because of your passion in teaching. I remembered that you came in class just after hours
from landing in Davao. I was really amazed by your commitment in teaching because you
decided to go to class even if you are allowed not to, considering that you only got back hours
from your flight. As a teacher, you are a very good teacher, every peso spent to you sir is worth it
because you actually do teach unlike other professor that does not come in class. You actually do
not mind if you spent an additional 30 minutes even if I think it does not give you additional
salary.

I have witnessed how determined you are as a teacher. Every time we beg something
from you, you always stand by your decision and would not let us affect your decision. You are
truly an amazing professor and I could never find a teacher like you. I find it amazing how you
handle our class and I think that is because you are already an experienced teacher thinking of
the years that you have already spent in teacher.
 In the future when I am already facing the real world I hope that I could use all the things
that I have learned from you. I hope that I could still continue to look at the world in a different
perspective and to always think before doing anything. In the future when my classmates and I
are already in the real world I am sure that we will never forget the lessons that you have taught
us.

For me, I would say that one thing that I would never forget from you is your cruelty.
Because of you I realized that in the real world there are a lot of people far more cruel than you
and I am thankful that I was already given a preparation for the cruelty of the real world. Your
cruelty will forever be remembered by my classmates and I. We will never forget how you
treated us and insulted us in class. I know that for you, you cannot already remember how you
insulted us, but for us, we will never be able to forget it. No matter how much years passed it
already made a mark to us.

As a person who does not get hurt easily by insults, I would say that you did a great job
insulting us. As for me, I am still okay even though you have already insulted me many times.
But for my classmates, some of them are already not okay because of what you did to them. I
personally do not know, if your insults to us is required for being a good teacher in political
sociology. I still do not know if being a sociology major and being able to see the world in a
different perspective is what caused you to be that cruel teacher.

Sir your cruelty will forever be remembered. In reality your lessons might be forgotten
but the experienced that we had with you sir, will never be forgotten. We will all bring the
feelings we felt forever even when we grow old. I hope my children will be able to learn the
things that I have learn in a less cruel teacher. But I also do hope that the world could have more
brilliant teacher just like you.

I am very thankful for everything that you have taught me. Because of you I have known
Foucault who is a great thinker and made me realize that I am more powerful than I thought but
everything is also limited. As a student I realized that you are far more powerful than I am and I
have no choice but to be subjugated by your power and the powers of others in order to fit in
what we call society.
